Barbara Tourscher has over 28 years of financial experience helping families, individuals and small businesses realize their financial goals. In thinking forward to college, retirement or just financial security Barbara has the knowledge and experience to be an instrumental part of your team.
Barbara founded Investment Planning Services in 1991. She has an Associate's Degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Through the years Barbara has taken numerous courses and received many licenses in the insurance & financial arena, she has also been the recipient of many industry awards.
The Tunkhannock community is appreciative to have such a hard working professional woman as a member of their community; Barbara has always been committed to helping others.
She is currently a member of the following organizations:

In 2009 Barbara founded "The Uniquely You Award". This award praises creativity and is given to high school seniors from Tunkhannock and other area school districts.
Barbara has previously participated in the Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair for over 20 years.
